We’ve, just added Location tooltips to UMapper maps. Tooltips provide an easy and non-intrusive way to get more information about a marker without having to click on it. The coolest feature of the new tooltips is that they adjust their position automatically based on the location of a marker. This prevents them from going off screen. Roll over a marker in the map below to see the tooltip in action.

Tagging functionality has just been added to the growing list of UMapper features. Now it is much easier to find awesome maps like Nazi Gold Hunt or Coin Bahd!. We’ve just rolled out a new version of the UMapper Map Editor. This release includes some minor bug fixes and several cool new features. The best new feature is the ability to save snapshot views. The way this works is that the map view will be saved from the editor in the exact position you place it before saving. In the example below, you can see that the position and the zoom level of the map are saved. Additional updates in this release include the ability to save marker stroke properties and maker indexes.
