We have an exciting announcement about a new way to use UMapper. Yesterday, the location-based social networking site Brightkite released a new iPhone application that allows you to post geo-based updates to your profile from your iPhone. They also export your posts into a KML feed (http://brightkite.com/people/username/objects.kml) that is readable by UMapper. What this means for our users is that you can create a map and link to this feed using our data linking tool. After your map is created, you can embed it anywhere and update it as you post to Brightkite directly from your iPhone.
