Earlier today, we released a new version of the editor that includes a new circle tool. Now, you can easily create a circle by clicking once for the center of the circle and then clicking again after you’ve moved the mouse the desired radius distance. As with polygons, you can easily change fill and stroke colors, line thickness, opacity, as well as info window content.

Here’s The Great Tangshan Earthquake Map that is an example of the circle tool being used to show the intensity levels of the earthquake in surrounding areas.

As always with new tools, please let us know if you have any comments or suggestions about the new circle tool.

Great tool and the plug-in rocks on Wordpress, there’s only one thing I’m missing and which I think would be really cool and that is to be able to set custom dimensions when I insert a map, currently there’s only fixed ones and -in my case- none of them works very well. “S” to small and “M” is to big.

Thank you and keep up the good work. ;)

@ Stefan, thanks for your comment. In the future releases of UMapper WordPress plugin, we are going to include “Resize & Embed” feature, which is currently available on our website. Check it out: http://www.umapper.com/maps/embed/id/7661

@ andrei, wow, that feature rocks, I love that idea, but what I actually meant was to be able to define my own size when inserting the map in my post, I don’t know if something like this is being considered or will be covered by what you previously mentioned.

Another thing I think would rock is to have localization options for the plug-in, and if you need translators I’m willing to volunteer for the spanish and german translations.
