Don’s Car Washes have been in Fargo-Moorhead since 1958. Don Johnson and Mel Skarphol opened the business at 1802 Main Ave. in Fargo. At the time, most people had not been through a conveyor car wash, so the business had to spend a lot of time and promotion acquainting people with the new service.
